Eutrophication management is of significant importance to aquatic environmental protection and it has received great concern from both home and abroad. How to prevent the occurency of eutrophication by effective removal of Nitrogen (N) and phosphor (P) that are the determinal factors of eutrophication has become the core problem in academic realm. This paper aims at synthesize zeolites with fly ash ,waste inorganic fly ash to reduce cost and enhance the ammonium and phosphate removal efficiency of as-prepared zeolites. The effects of synthesis temperature, reacting of time, ratio of liquid/solid and the concentration of NaOH solution upon the formation of zeolite, cation exchange capacity (CEC) and phosphate Immobilization coefficient (PIC) are systematically investigated. In a further municipal wasterwater analysis, the ammonium and phosphate removal efficiency of three types of zeolites with different calcium contents was intensively studied. The experimental method and result of this study is shown as follows: 1. Crystallization degree of zeolites is mainly influenced by temperature and the category of synthesized zeolites largely depends upon the ratio of...
