Project Environmental Appraisal For Block A Of Dagang Oilfield

Project environmental appraisal plays a most important role in setting up a new project. With combination of environmental appraisal theory and technical approaches such as data collecting, field inspection and reconnaissance, statistics, analogy surveying and mathematics'module, this paper studies documents on project engineering and regional environment, analysis and discusses the block A's development in Dagang Oilfield in details.⑴Investigate and monitor current situation of existing development projects, understand environmental background in the region, and provide technical documents for environmental impact and benefits, and project final acceptance.⑵Predict and appraise environmental impact degree and scope of the project construction on atmosphere, water, soil, ecology, noise and society. Forecast and discuss further main pollution sources, environmental effects on ecology, soil, water, atmosphere, noise and solids waste during project building and operating periods.⑶Discuss environmental feasibility of the development plan, put forward accordingly environmental protection actions during project operation, well shutting and contract termination.⑷Provide scientic evidence for wholly project construction, operation, environmental management and pollution prevention, reduce negative environment impact of oilfield development in order to balance benefits among economy, environment and society.
