The dissertation briefly introduced the resource and the damage of hospital sewage, and compares the current sterilizing methods on hospital sewage both here and abroad. Considering the development of sewage sterilization, the paper mainly discussed the development of ozone (O3) sterilization technique as well as the actual effect and significance of its application on hospital sewage. Meanwhile, it analyzed the virtues and shortcomings of different ozone synthesis techniques, and promoted a novel type of doubling surface discharge (DSD) method to synthesize ozone. And the experiments studied on the utilization ratio of energy, the concentration and yield of synthesized ozone, and further proved the possibility and efficiency of O3 sterilization hospital sewage.By using an HV AC source (50Hz), the injection energy of DSD reactor is two-fold greater than the single surface discharge (SD), and the O3 concentration after discharge synthesis increased to about 4 times, and the O3 yield is correspondingly doubled than the SD reactor at the same applied peak value of voltage. By adopting a positive HV and narrow pulse power supply, it can efficiently increase the energy utilization ratio as well as doubled concentration and yield of synthesized O3. By wind cooling and using the dry and clean air resource, the O3 yield can reach 68.5g/kWh, while the energy density is 1W/ cm2 at the discharge frequency of 100Hz and at the peak voltage of 23kV in DSD reactor.By testing fecal coliform (FC) and total number of bacteria (TNB) in hospital sewage which has been treated by O3 produced by DSD reactor, the following results can be concluded: sterilization efficiency increases with the adding of O3 amounts and processing time; the sterilization time of FC has no linear relationship with O3 flux, but...
