There are two parts in this dissertation:1. MCM-41, MCM-48, Al-MCM-41and M (Ce, Cu, Zn, Al)-MCM-48 material were prepared by the hydrothermal method. By means of powder X-ray diffraction, low-temperature nitrogen absorption-adsorption technique and ultraviolet diffuse reflectance spectroscopy, the samples were characterized. The results showed that the metal ion was successfully incorporate in the framework of mesoporous material. The coordinated state of the aluminum with the variety of the amount but varies. The quality of the aluminum is big, the atoms are present with a 4-coordinated in the framework of sample, otherwise a 6-coordinated out of the framework of sample. The UV results showed that some metal ions could enter the framework of MCM-48. We should change the conditions to go on more research.2. Mesoporous silica thin membranes have been produced by hydrothermal deposition method in non-aqueous solvent. By means of XRD, TEM, SEM and IR spectroscopy, the structure of the films was characterized. The results showed that the membranes had the structure of mesoporous MCM-41 with the pore channel of membrane paralleled to the substrate and different substrate had certain effect on membrane growth. The mechanical character of membrane was studied on. The results showed the membrane had good wear-resisting property and intense adhesive power.
