Rheology is the offshoot of dynamics and becoming more and more important in many areas. Now rheology is mainly concerned on polymer, gas, blood, suspension and so on. For polymer, gas and blood there has already existed academic system. But when it comes to suspension there is no such system because the structure is complex. The studies on suspension models are exiguous. So in this essay we made a silicon dioxide suspension and grind it though the grinding equipment, then exam the rheological performances of the suspension such as viscosity, thixotropy, dynamic viscoelasticity. Finally we formulate the viscosity expression of the silicon dioxide suspension and apply it on the ink suspension. The results show that the test values and academic values are well inosculated.During the exam process we discuss how the volume ratio, shear rate, frequency, shear strain affect the viscosity, thixotropy, dynamic viscoelasticity. And the results show that after grinding the silicon dioxide suspension has good stability and typical characteristic of suspension which means viscosity decrease while share rate increase. The silicon dioxide suspension has little thixotropical characteristic and will increase with the volume ratio, decrease with the share time. G' will increase with volume ratio and frequency while will decrease with the share strain. From the exam data we deduce the viscosity expression of silicon dioxide suspension and apply it on the ink suspension.Though the viscosity expression the test values and academic values are well inosculated.
