| In recent years, as the development of the macromolecule science, the studying in the macromolecule science has pervaded in nearly every respect in our life, especially, in entironment. Although people have used some inorganic flocculants in water treatment, the effect is not satisfied enough. On the other hand, there are also some organic flocculants. But the toxicity of the hangover is too bad to people. So those flocculants have so many disadvantages that they can not be used in some aspects, such as in treating drinking water. Because of the shortcoming of those two styles flocculants, scholars are trying to study the natural modified cationic flocculant. The development of macromolecule flocculant used in water treatment is introduced. Macromolecule flocculant was classified based on the component and source of material, and the performance and usage of natural organic macromolecule flocculant are discussed. The development trends of modified starch flocculant in China in recent decade are summarized, and the suggestions on the future research works are offered. To summarize the main methods to produce regenerated cellulose fibers, including cuprammonia method, viscose method, NMMO method and NaOH method. The influences of those methods on environment and fiber properties are discussed according to the dissolution mechanism and spinning theory. The article studies the dissolution mechanism of cellulose in LiCl/polar solvent and the influence of different dissolution conditions on the dissolubility. And introduces the product of the cellulose graft copolymerization .Those new cellulose fibers have a good industrial development prospect. The graft copoly merization of acrylamide onto cellulose and starch are studied with ceric ammonium nitrate as the initiator. Investigated reaction time and activation means, raw material amount and the reaction temperature adjust dissolving amount and dissolves performance, grafting rate and the grafting effectiveness effect. The experiments with municipal wastewater and papermaking wastewater are to test the effect of natural modified cationic flocculant by using the turbidilty removal ratio, chroma and COD removal rate. Results: ①The percentage of cellulose-acryl amide graft copolymer is more than 70% when the monomer and initiator are 3g and 0.15g, the temperature is 100℃.②The percentage of starch-acryl amide graft copolymer is more than 60% when the monomer and initiator are 7.108g and 0.30g, the temperature is 30℃ ~40℃ .③The experiment with papermaking wastewater indicated that the turbidilty removal ratio was larger than 70%, and COD removal rate was above 50.0%. |
