Iodine and bromine are important materials to produce various kinds of inorganic and organic compound which can be used in fields such as national defense, medicine and chemical engineering, And moreover, iodine, one of the indispensable life elements of human body, is regarded as the intelligence elements . Therefore, it is important of studying the analyzing methods of iodine and bromine to the separation and extracting of them from oilfield produced water rich in iodine and bromine. In this treatise, based on the summarizing of the analyzing methods of iodide and bromide systematically, improvements and researches on these methods to analyze bromide and iodide in the oilfield produced water,as the following is major conclusions:1. NaCl as a total ionic strength adjustment buffer, iodide ion selective electrode to determine the iodide in the oilfield produced water is studied. In the range of 1.97×10-7~1.00 mol/L the measuring potential value according to the Nernst response, The linear correlation coefficient is 0.9951, the average recovery rate could reach 98.86%. The relative standard deviation (n = 6) %=1.04. The results of this method (37.16mg/L) and NaNO2 oxidation (37.50mg/L) butanone derivative gas chromatography (38.62mg/L) results are basically consistent, show that the method hasa higher degree of accuracy.NaCl as a total ionic strength adjustment buffer, iodide ion selective electrode to determine the iodide in the oilfield produced water ,In this treatise, the study on the influence of the acidity(pH) was done .NaCl as a total ionic strength adjustment buffer, iodide ion selective electrode to determine the iodide in the oilfield produced water ,In this treatise, the study on the influence of the the co-existed ions were done.2. In this treatise,NaNO2 as an oxidation to determinate the iodide in the oilfield produced water by spectrophotometry was studied .The research results show that the iodide content in the range of 4~18μg/mL Lambert-Beer's law is obeyed; standard deviation is 0.63%, average recovery is 99.40%. The application of this method to determination of the trace iodide in oil-field water gives encouraging results This method is simple, fast and accurate.3. Phenol red spectrophotometric determination of bromide in the oilfield produced water was set up . The research results show that the measuring range can reach 0~ 1.6μg/mL, The relative standard deviation (n = 5)is 0.59%, the average recovery rate could reach 96.58%. The application of this method to determination of the bromide ion in the oil field water gives encouraging results. For in the oilfield water the concentration of the CI->0.10μg/mL,which interferes with the determination of bromide ion. In this paper , NO2- was used as oxidation, butanone derivatives, cyclohexane extraction,so as to achieve the purpose of the measurement.
