BaFBr:Eu2+ has an excellent capability of photo-stimulating luminescence (PSL),AS a important part of IP(Imaging Plate),It is widely used for CR in hospitals and industrial non-destructive detection.The traditional preparation means of BaFBr:Eu2+ is high-temperature solid diffusion, this kind of means development up to now ,the craft is already very mature,but it has some disadvantages obviously,such as: wasting time and energy, the grain size of production is too big,etc.Aimming at these problems,a new means is put forward to prepare BaFBr:Eu2+ in this paper,which is combustion synthesis. Through large numbers of experiments and research, BaFBr:Eu2+ having fine capability is prepared by the means of combustion synthesis。In this paper,preparing process,technics parameter,substance form,proportion of elements,spectrum of PL and PSL and luminescence capability is studied detailed by means of XRD,electron microscope,spectrophotometer。As a result ,combustion synthesis is energy-saving,fast,high efficiency .Comparing with high-temperature solid diffusion,It has the following advantages:1. raw material need't grind for long time and is dissolved in water,in this way,they can be mixed symmetrical.2. The time of the reaction is so short that it is finished in a few minutes3. The temperature of the reaction is low .4. The production of the reaction has high purity and sigle crystal appearance.5. The reaction need't reductive atmosphere, It can be supplied by itself.6. The grain size of the production is very small ,the production is grinded easily.The combustion synthesis has made advanced progress not only in the field of synthesis and jointing but also in the field of sinter. But this manner is always applied to prepare oxides or alloys, Few works were reported about preparing compounds containing no oxygen by combustion synthesis.,such as BaFBr:Eu2+,but in this paper,a lot of study and experiments will be done in the new field.In the preparing process,the problem that F can't be added to the production easily is resolved by means of secondary baking,as the result,the luminescence intensity of PSL of the production is enhanced .Basing on the study of the grain size of the production ,we can control the grain size by controlling the three factors which is the dosage of Urea,the space of reaction and secondary baking,while the luminescence intensity of PSL of the production is't fell.In addition,the performance measure of IP which is made by ourself and the dynamics calculation has been done, the parameters ,such as linearity area,saturated point,is compared with those of IP which is made by Japanse,in order to optimize the design of CR,...
