Coal tunnel support plays an important role in coal mining. For the purpose of improving the anchor-hold performance of anchor-bolts,a series of experiments have been done to improve the structure and the types of plastic expansion-shell anchor-bolt. Select PVC as material of the anchor heads on the basis of analyzing the anchor- hold performance under large deformation. Some polymers can get well mechanics performance after being filled with some kinds of non-metallic minerals powder. Modify the surface property of calcite powder and wollastonite powder. In different proportion mingle the powder which have been modified and fill them in PVC raw material. Then the PVC plastics samples are molded in the way of injection. Test the mechanics performance of the samples and compare them with each other.Choose the most suitable formula of the samples as the materials of anchor heads. Analyse the layout of the stress in the shell by calculating and simulating the shell model under working condition in Ansys 8.0 .Compare the cost of each sample by calculating to prove the rationality of the structure The result shows that the material made of 100 portion of PVC filled with 20 portion of wollastonite powder is the most suitable as shells of anchor heads.The most suitable material for cores of anchor heads are made of 100 portion of PVC filled with 10 portion of calcite powder and 10 portion of Wollastonite powder.The experiment data can be used for instructing the manufacture of the anchor heads and as well for the reference of the engineering plastics industry...
