Research Of The Control System Of Automatic Fins-former Based On PLC

Automatic fins-former is a mechanical device which can continuously form the aluminum foil volume material into louvers undulation fins used in the automobile air conditioning heat interchanger.Fins-former is regarded as the subject in this paper. The automatic control of fins-former is realized, PLC used as the primary control unit of the control system, and the technology of the transducer, the servo-control and touch screen are also adapted. Tension controller of model ZK-3 and PLC are used to realize automatic control of the tension of open-book mechanism. With this method, the tension control becomes convenient. PLC adopting the function memory is used to control the frequency converter and the synchronous control is realized. The cost of this means is low, the programming is simple, the control is convenient, and the disadvantages of the frequency changer controlled by D/A switch were changed. Servo-control wave crest shut off system was used in order to make the shaping fins vented quickly, the positioning is precise, the shutting efficiency high. Touch screen and PLC are combined, which makes the performance of the control system safer and more reliable. In this way, the unit of equipments becomes mechatronic products in real sense.
