The treatment of high-concentration refractory industrial organic wastewater is an important problem which is needed to resolve in the domestic and international environmental protection realm at present. Presently catalytic wet air oxidation (CWAO) technique has the bigger advantage to handle this industrial organic wastewater. It disposes organics into H2O, CO2 and N2 at high temperature and pressure in a closeness container in which there are catalyst and air or oxygen as oxidant. The noble catalyst has the better activity and stability in the CWAO, but the high cost of noble mental limits its large-scale industrial use. In this dissertation, We try to find a low cost and high activity catalyst to eliminate the CODcr removal rate in the wastewater. In this text high-concentration linear alkylbenzene sulfonate(SDBS) was used as imitated industrial organic wastewater and disposed with CWAO technology. Sequentially cheap and efficient catalyst was seeked for this wastewater and the operation conditions were optimized for this catalyst.Based on the goal, the main work as follows:1. The preparation and characterization of the catalyst for treatment of SDBS wastewater by CWAO.(1) The Cu,Co and Ce oxide compound catalyst was prepared.Based on the theory of catalyst-oxidation ,the CuO was selected as the mian activity of catalyst. When it was compounded with different metal oxide such as Mn,Fe,Zn,Co and Cr,the Cu-Co compound catalyst showed a superior performance that the CODcr removal rate increased from 55.7% to 68.7% in contrast to single component CuO.What's more, the adding of electron-promoter in CuO and Co oxide catalyst increased sharply the CODcr removal rate to 82.4%.(2) The proportion of the component was optimized, and based on this, the effect of calcination temperature and calcination time was investigated on the catalytic activity.
