Attention to investigation of substitute technology and application to practice project, including preparation of effective and cheaper bio-adsorbent, has been paid by environment engineering group recently. Rice straw is a kind of agro-castoff, and has a large quantity in our country. Utilization of it is a problem needed to resolve urgently. Modification of rice straw was studied. Modified rice straw was used as adsorbent to removal aniline and formaldehyde in solution. The modified rice straw not only was good to reduce agro-castoff, but also may was developed a new material to treat waste water.Work mostly as follows:1. Effect of some factors: such as time, temperature, pH value, and oxidant concentration, on oxidization of rice straw cellulose by sodium periodate solution and adsorption of aniline on the modified rice straw were studied. Modified rice straw containing 4mmol/g aldehyde group was gained at optimum conditions, yield of modified rice straw coming to 85.94%. Aniline was adsorbed by the modified rice straw effectively. Removal of aniline was about 90%.2. Use modified rice straw containing 4mmol/g aldehyde group to react with poly-amine compounds to prerare modified rice straw with different amine group. The effects of reaction conditions such as reaction time, pH value of solution, and the yield and content of amine group on the oxycellulose were investigated in detail. The structure of modified cellulose was confirmed with IR. The results showed that when amine compounds concentration , reaction time, pH value to a certainty range, the amine group content increased also, whereas it can reach stabilization or submit downtrend. The content of amine group on the oxycellulose can reach to 2mmol/g at optimum conditions.3. The adsorption of formaldehyde on modified rice straws with different amine group was carried out. The results showed that the adsorption process keeps to first kinetic model. Capacity of saturation adsorption for several examples of modified rice...
