The Technology And Economy Research Of Amelioration Biological Aeration Filter

The advanced treatment and reuse for the effluent of the sewage dispose plant, not only can reduce the contamination in environment,save the resource of water,and bring benefit for consumer and sewage treatment plant. The traditional process for the wastewater treatment for reuse are coagulant, deposition, filtration in base of second dispose, but it is ease to plant biofilm,limit of the investment for UF and high for using. And Biological aerated filters (BAF), based on the biological contact oxidation process, is a new kind of aerobic biological membrane process in wastewater treatment. It emerged in the early 80's of 20 century due to the introduction of the idea of filtration in the drinking water dispose. It has been used for many kinds of wastewater plant in the world. At present, BAF has become a research focus in the field of environmental protection in China.Biological aeration filter (BAF) was combined with chemical coagulation and was used for the dispose of wastewater from municipal wastewater work for the purpose of reuse. Chemical coagulant was used as the first-step process for the removing suspended solids (SS), and the second-step BAF for removing the pollutants further through biological activity and biological filtration of biofilm. The results showed that COD cr, SS, and BOD5 were from 672mg/L, 200mg/L, 576mg/L in influent to 52mg/L, 10mg/L, 24mg/L in effluent. Respectively, compared to the single process of BAF, the combined processes were capable of increasing all result data about COD cr, SS and BOD5 .It is discoursed the economy feasibility of BAF from techno-economy aspect. It is made out economy cost of BAF and searched for economy and society benefit.In equivalence condition from economy facet it is superiority in occupying terra, management, disposing wastewater, autoimmunization degree etc.In the aspect of society and environment benefit, water reusing engineering of BAF is benefit for our country and made out most measure in society and environment benefit so that spread vigorously. Thus, as to water reusing item our country must favor with policy and emphases support in order to have the feasibility in economy.
