This article mainly discusses BMPs's control to the uptown non-point source pollution, in view of the water quality characteristic of point source pollution in Suzhou residential uptown. The main content of this research includes: l)Carrying on the investigation to the characteristic of non-point source pollution in the uptown, then fix on the water quality of experiment used, 2)Analyzing hydraulics characteristic's influence to the water quality processing effect of rains runoff wetland system, sieving the configuration of undercurrent wetland system, 3)Setting down the processing plan of house flat runoff and the path runoff, and then obtain the effect of their water quality purification through the simulation experiment, 4)Using BMPs to plan the non-point source pollution control of Guihua New Village Residential Uptown. Lastly, under the research condition of this article, I obtain the conclusion as following:(1)The non-point source pollution which is caused by rains runoff and habitant activities is the main origin of the non-point source pollution in the Suzhou residential uptown. Rains runoff is mainly divided into the house flat runoff and the path runoff, and the pollution extent of them are different a lot, but there are obvious initial period effects on the pollution load time exist both of them. If we can collect and process the runoff of headmost 30 minutes, we will control the pollution of rains runoff in residential uptown successfully.(2)The experiment explanation to the hydraulics characteristic of wetland includes: 1)The runoff sewage purification ability and movement stability of level undercurrent wetland system are better than some other wetland forms, 2) In order to achieve the ideal processing effect, the persistence time of rains runoff wetland system should be guaranteed no less than 6h and the hydraulic power water power load should be controlled range from 0.28 to 0.39 m3 /(m2·d), 3)The concentration of outward pollution from wetland system will be increased with concentration of the inward pollution's increasing, but removing rate is relatively stable.(3)During simulating experiment of the house flat runoff' s processing procedure through the free surface system, I found that when the TN of experiment water sample is 4.23mg/L, NH4+-N is 2.98mg/L, TP is 0.13mg/L, and COD is 50mg/L, the corresponding removing rate will be 48%,74%, 70%, 34%.(4)The two stages wetlands system which are consisted by level undercurrent wetland and free surface wetland system has the better purification effect to the path runoff, when the turbidity of experiment water sample is 125NTU, TN is 10.17mg/L, NH4+-N is 5.81mg/L, TP is 0.87 mg/L, and COD is 231 mg/L, the system removing rate will be 80%, 73%, 89%, 64%, 79%.Through the planning analysis to the BMPs use of Suzhou Guihua New Village Residential Uptown, it has further explained that BMPs conforms to the principle which the environment benefit, the economic efficiency and the social efficiency should be unified, and it has highly effective, economical, the environmental...
