Slope protection of town river is one of import transition zone for matter, power, and information exchange between water area ecosystem and dry land ecosystem. It provides various water living things the main space for existing and multiplying. And it's important reality and lurking meaning without exception to the activity of increasing a variety of animal and plant thing sources, improving biodiversity and ecosystem productivity, controlling soil erosion, stabilizing river bank, adjusting the tiny climate, beautifying the environment and carrying out the tour, too. But a lot of river revetment is spent to hard and channelization currently, the result causes the river revetment function as biodiversity and ecosystem cross zone loses completely. Therefore, Ecological restoration of the hard river revetment have already become current research hot spot of ecological restoration of city river in our country.This paper is based on the discussion of the basic theory about ecological slope protection construction, to innovatively address a kind of technology of water-resistant submerged plants and casing soil slope protection to solve the difficult technical issues about water balance, flooding stress and thickness of casing soil during the Ecological restoration process on the condition of big water lever change, it released the hazard to the river ecosystem cause by hard revetment, and increased a variety of animal and plant thing sources. It can be a theoretical support and technical reference for ecological restoration of city river hard revetment. This paper discusses about solution to the difficult technical issues about water balance, flooding stress and thickness of casing soil during the Ecological restoration process on the condition of big water lever change, focus on the following areas of research.1. Basing on the rule of using resource from local condition for ecological slope protection, using wet soil from mount beigu as hard revetment basic soil , and using Ryegrass, ribbon grass, reed as test plant, determined the Nutrients laying thickness of the revetment surface during the ecological restoration process by experiment.2. Studied the submerged stress-resistant plants performance in waterlogged conditions. The results show: Bahia grass, Zephyranthes Candida, Ophiopogon...
