Research On The System Of Data Management Of Printing Color-Difference Evaluation

Printing color-difference evaluation is one of the most important problems in the field of printing color regulating and color quality detecting all the times. In order to follow the development of color science and to fit the demand of industry production, we desire a kind of humanized software, which can evaluate the printing color-difference reasonably. In this way, we can make the objective evaluation relevantly the color-difference of subjective evaluation. So, the software can exactly value the color quality and effectively control the production procedure.In this paper, after the analyzing the application situation of the color space and color-difference formula, ACCESS color-difference evaluation system is put forward as the solution to color data management, which because using the uneven color-space results in a disagreement between the objective color-difference evaluation and the fact. In addition, the data of color samples are measured by existing experimental instrument and the results of color-difference evaluation of the samples are presented. Experiment indicates that the results of three color-difference formulas, which are CMC(l:c),CIE94 and CIEDE2000, are more close to the fact in every color field than the results of CIELAB. So, the system is effective and sound by synthetically using these three color-difference formulas to value the printing color quality.This dissertation consists of five chapters. In the first chapter, the current circumstance of the evaluation methods and models in the world is described. And the objective evaluation is emphasized on for its importance in industrial application, so that the task of this study is presented. The 2nd chapter analyzes the related theories. In the 3rd chapter, the data management system is described in detail and the results are issued. Chapter 4 is about the experimental testing. In this chapter, the practical performance of four evaluation models is compared. In the final 5th chapter, the research work is summarized, the system's insufficiency is put forward, and some possible improvements are prospected so that more excellent performance of this system is looked forward.
