The North China, which includes the whole Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei and Shanxi areas, the most part of Innermongolia and Shandong provinces, and a part of Henan and Liaoning provinces, is a large area suffering serious air pollution. In the North China, Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Shandong and Liaoning provinces are the important industrial base of China, Shanxi province is the important energy base of China, and Innermongolia province is the important source of dust storm. There is a problem of pollutant affection and transport between the cities in the North China, making the air pollution of the north China very serious.Studying air pollution source emission of the North China, Setting up a new and highly-resolved emission inventory has very important value for the research on the North China air pollution, especially for simulating the formation, transport and evolution of pollutants and making policy on how to control air pollution. This thesis has investigated and researched a lot of papers published, collected a lot of emission factors, compared and analysed them carefully, and try our best to use the emission factors that is fit to our real pollution emissioned. This thesis calculates the emissions of NOx, SO2, NMVOC, CO, NH3, PM10 and PM2.5 in every city district of the North China from the activities of industry, agriculture and resident life in 2003. According to relavent factors, the city emissions are attributed to the relavent districts and counties. At the same time, this thesis investigates the emissions from the large and medium power station, iron and steel factory, cement factory, chemical fertilization factory, coke refining factory, oil refining factory, vegetable oil refining factory, vitriol factory, painting factory and so on. Of 348 factories selected, the emissions of NOx, SO2, NMVOC, CO, NH3, PM10 and PM2.5 from each factory are calculated according to the relavent production for 2003. By deducing the emissions of these cities from the total of the relavent district and county, the residual are considered as the surface emissions while the factory emissions are taken as the point sources. This paper distributes the emission data according to the fact in heating time and no heating time. Finally, the 0.1ox0.1o grid emission inventories of NOx, SO2, NMVOC, CO, NH3, PM10 and PM2.5 of the North China for 2003 are developed.According to the calculation, the total emission of the North China in 2003 are NOx: 5,296 kton, SO2: 9,582 kton, NMVOC: 3,854kton, CO: 46,726 kton, NH3: 5,302 kton, PM10: 10,462 kton, and PM2.5: 5,482 kton. Enery consumption, coal combustion, vehicle mobile source and crop burning are the important emission sources. Industry is the important emission source, power station, iron and steel, cement, coke refining, oil refining, ammonia and chemical fertilization production, central heating are the important industrical emission sources. From the viewpoint of strength in unit area, there are four large aeras with high emission. The high emission areas are Beijing, Tianjin and Tangshan area, the south of the Hebei and the north of the Henan aera, the middle and south west of the Shandong aera, the middle and south of the Shanxi and the north west of the Henan aera, there are also several small aeras with high air pollution emission(Qingdao, Jinzhou, Zhangjiakou, Baotou, Datong aeras and so on). These areas have developed industry, dense population and a lot of vehicles. In this thesis the emissions in heating time and no heating time are estimated according to the relavent factors. It is found that the average month emission in heating time is obviously higher than that in no heating time, and crop burning, resident coal consumption and central heating have a large impact on the total emission.
