Studies On The Theory And Practice In Near-natural Control Of Urban River In China

At present, the problem that urban river faced is not extremely in coordination with the objective of acturalizing "sustainable development" and constructing "harmonious society" of our nation. How to control urban river to meet the need of the social development, has become the key-issue needed to be solved immediately. Near-natural control is a kind of control method which is taking "living harmoniously with nature and environment" as the guiding ideology, having the important instruction significance to solve the problem on security and comfortable aspect.Based on the theory and practice in near-natural control of domestic and overseas urban river, this paper elaborated the concept and connotation, summarized the near-natural control of urban river in China, which is while it solves the rivers flood prevevtion security and water resources use, it can reduces the pressure the humanity take to the river, maintains the rivershabitat multiplicity, the species multiplicity and rivernatural statte, gives dual attention to the rivers ecology function theimprovement and the enhancement, as well as rivers landscape building.The above theory is used in the integrated control project of Bei river in Jin Tang county of Chengdu, in order to explore the idea and mode of controlling river to promote coordinated growth on local ecological, social and economical aspects. Finally, the problems what needed to be paid attention in the future will be proposed in view of the existing problems on the near-natural control practice of urban river in China.
