| The quality and service performance of the sealing plate, one of the most important parts for heatpump, have great effect on the security and operation life of the heatpump. So, it is significant to study the structural techniques of the sealing plate of heatpump.Serious casting defects and short operation life in the existing sealing plate affect the quality of the heatpump badly. In this paper, ProCAST software is used to simulate the filling and solidification process of the sealing plate with the existing structure and process to ensure the defect position, such as shrinkage porosity and cavity. ANSYS software is also used to predict the stress distribution and deformation situation through simulating the actual performance situation. The defects are still serious after improving the process by various ways according to the simulation results. Discussing with the manufacture, we improve the structure of the casting on the basis of the improved process. And then ProCAST and ANSYS software are adopted again to simulate the filling and solidification process and analyze the stress distribution and deformation situation in the actual performance of all improved designs. Adjusting and improving again and again, and finally choose the best design according to the simulation and analysis results. And then, X-ray inspection is carried out to inspect defects of the real casting product to prove the feasibility and reliability of the improved design. The method that puts solidification simulation and stress analysis technology together to study the structural techniques, which has popular application, provides a basis for some relative researches and a further study. |
