Ball mill as a important solid material refinement of milling equipment, which are widely used in metallurgy, chemical, cement, ceramics, construction, electricity, medicine and defense industry sectors etc. Especially in the metallurgical industry processing sector, grinding operation is a very important position. As the mill capacity and product size will have significantly impact for the efficiency of the follow-up operations and economic indicators of the production process of technical, and the Ball mill at home and abroad researches has been extensive attention and attach great importance to it. In recent years, as costs of the energy increase, the quality of ore grade decline, lower investment and production costs of the world mining industry is facing a serious problem, use of efficient large equipment in modern mine building is the main trend, upsizing of the mill has become the direction of technical development.Bearing as a important part of the ball mill, The stability of its work can directly affect the normal operation. Once it has trouble, it is often brought to the huge economic losses. Bearing of the ball mill bears the static loads of the rotator, materiel abrasive, and the dynamic loads which is made in the rotating abrasive process, and was accompanied to the expected impact of the load process, there is usually up to 100t or hundreds of tons. Bearing of the ball mill works under the condition of heavy-load, low-speed, long working cycles, so its carrying capacity, reliability, working lives, energy consumption are highly demanded. Liquid hydrostatic bearings with high load capacity, long life and other advantages are widely applied in large-scale ball mill. The parameters of pressure and flux which of the Hydrostatic bearing's oil supply system are computed and the materials of hydraulic bearing is choose, which is particularly important in the working lives and stability of the hydrostatic bearing. Based on the theoretical analysis and simulation, this paper mainly research on the above two questions.The main research works can be described as follows:(1) Ball mill bearings types and characteristics are Introduced and the necessity of hydrostatic bearing application in large-scale ball mill is expounded; hydrostatic bearings needed research.The design method of the large-scale hydrostatic bearings in this paper and the results of simulate compute is very useful to the similar products design.
