Started from the actual demand of industrial production in this project, the biological technology is mainly used to resolve the problem of pollution of cyanides produced in the gold production process. It aims at laying a foundation for the next-step industrial application with the technical parameters obtained from the experimental investigation.The sifting, breeding and domestication of microorganisms are carried out in the solution with a concentration of cyanides. The biological method is taken for the identification of bacterial types. The bacterial types selected by the above method are tested in the different control conditions and the blanks are used for comparison. The small continuous tests are made in the independent designed test equipment according to the conditions.With the experimental investigation, some basic technical data are available. The used microorganisms consist of Shewanella putrefacien, Burkholderia husk, syringacin and B. cereus, with the reaction temperature controlled between 20~30℃, the inoculum size controlled between 5%~20% and the optimal inoculum time of 24h. When it is degraded for 24 hours in the concentration of 51.6mg/l, it can be realized that t\The study shows that it is technically feasible to adopt the method to treat the cyanide waste water. With the subsequentexperimental investigation, it can be used for industrial production after the economic and technical indexes are determined.
