| With the development of Steel Industry, steelmaking slag yield increases quickly. Most of steelmaking slag is now not used effectively, so how to make full use of steel slag become one major focused problem worldwidely. Up to now, treatment technologies of steelmaking slag are all terminal passively. Environment problems caused by steelmaking slag is not solved thoroughly. In order to overcome shortcomings of these treatment technologies, a new conception—gradient recycling use of steelmaking slag is suggested. Gradient recycling use of steelmaking slag means that slag at different phases is returned back step by step according to their characters. If this technology is adopted, efficiency of slag materials would be promoted, raw material consumption will be reduced, production costs will be lowered, output of steelmaking slag will be reduced obviously, and as a result, environment problems will be dissolved. This paper is a basic research about gradient recycling use of steelmaking slag. Through calculation of material balance of hot metal pretreatment, converter steelmaking and LF refining, output and chemical composition of steelmaking slag are calculated. Based on these datas, physical and chemical property of LD slag and LF refining slag is analysed. According to the calculation, feasibility and problems of cascade use of steelmaking slag are analysed. It is obtained that gradient recycling use of steelmaking slag will bring great economic and social benefits. It is proved that gradient recycling use of steelmaking slag is reasonable and can be a economical technology. Finally, factors influencing dephosphorization and desulfurization are analized. The evaluation indicators for potential of steelmaking slag recycling use are also summarized. These will be helpful to judge wether steelmaking slag should be wroth of recycling or not.According to the research of the paper, theoretical basis and practical guidance will be provided to save production costs, enhance economical and technical indicators of steelmaking and improve production process. Further it will promote the extensive application of steelmaking slags. |
