Application Of Backup System Based On SAN Technique In Jinduicheng Molybdenum Group

With the development of information technology, data has become the foundation of this digitized age. Data's maintainability, usability, the ability of its backup and recovery after disaster should be considered firstly. Techniques are developed such as cluster system, the real-time backup and the disaster recovery for Services continuously. According with the analysis of the constructions of information systems in JinDuiCheng, we found that the phenomenon of information isolated islands has becoming the biggest trouble for it disturbed the information's sharing and the work-flow in the enterprise. DAS can't meet the needs - the mass of data's transport fast and safely, until SAN was emerged which promoted the data's storage and backup in JinDuiCheng Molybdenum Group Co., Ltd.This paper possesses the following respect chiefly:1. Discussion of network storage technologyThis paper researched the storage technology based on data's backup and recovery, and analyzed NAS and SAN which are the popular technologies from the network's architecture, the way of its deployment and etc.2. The analysis of backup technology based on storage area networkFirstly introduces the main ways to backup, analyzes and compares their realization mechanism, then researches the main backup technology based on SAN: mirror image and snapshot, at last explains snapshot technology commonly.3. Design a backup systematic structure based on SAN for Jinduicheng Molybdenum GroupAnalyzes the demand of data's backup based on the current situation in Jinduicheng Molybdenum Group Co., Ltd, and lists backup technology based on storage area network. At last design a data storage and backup system which can meet the platform characteristic of digital library services and provide the concrete implementing scheme of this project. Finally, this paper explains the local cluster backup technology and the long-range disaster recover technology. Additionally the author analyzed the difficulty and gave the problems existing in the backup system.
