The basic characteristics of acid mine drainage, the main factors which influence the transport of acid mine drainage and the transport mechanism of Acid mine drainage in groundwater system are researched based on the researches of predecessors. On the basis of porous media solute transport theory , a coupled numerical model has been developed with convection, sorption and dissolve, disintegration for simulating the Acid mine drainage transport in groundwater. The model was discreted by using a Gelarkin finite-element method, the basic parameters are getted by the Soil pillar experiment that is doen indoor and the transport process of acid mine drainage is simulated in groundwater model by FEMWATER and RT3D,which predict the temporal and spatial distribution features of contaminant concentration. The sensitivity of parameters are analyzed by calculating an example. The research in this paper has theoretical and practical significance to predict the transport and transformation law of acid mine drainage, evaluate environmental quality, resources and control environmental pollution.
