Heshangqiao iron mine of Maanshan Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd. Nanshan Mining responsibility is a large open magnetite, because of the special position of the mine, construction of ecological mining and minimize environmental disturbance of Maanshan is imperative. Mining industry layout, unique hydrogeological environment and mine production safety needs put forward to new demands of groundwater drainge. Mine Slope mainly by hard-semi-hard rock classes, the slope stability is good. While mine was fractured bedrock aquifers major aquifer, water aquifer is little rich, hydrogeological conditions is moderate. Mine slope stability conditions and low water abundance nullah aquifer dewatering methods monks use iron bridge provides a good condition. However, due to the area from mines across the boundary of the Quaternary, mine hydrogeological conditions in the southeastern significant changes occurred. In the southeast Quaternary strata, general developmental soft stream-flow formed Silt, because of the mud sliding surface, pit slope stability in southeastern destruction. The above two reasons for the decision and southeastern conducted during dewatering, the need to advance the groundwater level drops below the level of exploitation, so as to ensure the safety of slope.According Ma’anshan open pit different sections of geological, engineering geological and hydrogeological conditions, proposed the joint surface and underground dewatering program. Under the premise of the program is designed to meet mine slope safety, as much as possible to reduce the economic costs and reduce water waste.According to the hydrogeological data mining, author established mining groundwater flow model. With GWM software dewatering methods were optimized management. Through the optimization of pumping well number, location and pumping volume, greatly improves the efficiency of dewatering, and reduce dewatering costs, to achieve the sustainable development of mining, improve resource utilization had a positive impact.
