Research On Monitoring Land Destification Based On 3S Technology

Desertification is caused by the influence of the climatic,environmental changes and human activities. Choose 3S technology as key technical support. Faku area in Liaoning Province was chosen as typical area. Analyze environmental background of land desertification in the typical area. Pick up quantitative indicators of desertification fro m remote sensing images.Do research on degree of land desertification through the index system of study area. Conducted a field survey using GPS. Monitored the changes of desertification in support of GIS .Then, the spatio-temporal evolution pattern was discussed. Analysed driving force of desertification in the area from natural and artificial factor . Finally, according to characteristic in the area, using of desertification land and vegetation rebuilds were put forward .
