"Study on preparing Trans-1,2-cyclohexanediol from 1,2- Cyclohexene Oxide with Solid Superacids" is one of subjects funded by Henan Outstanding Person Foundation, which were carried out according to the actual process of Nylon 66 Company, Shen Ma Bloc, Ping Ding Shan, China.In this paper, we have discussed the hydrolyzing reaction which made trans-1, 2-cyclohexanediol from 1, 2- cyclohexene oxide, and found the downstream products of 1, 2- cyclohexene oxide. Solid superacid catalyst which was fit for the hydrolyzing reaction had produced and replaced the traditional liquid acid catalyst. At the same time, we made some token for the solid superacid catalyst, and seen about the synthesis method of the hydrolyzing reaction in which the technology operation is a green process because it is easier operation, no harmful to one's health and no waste in this process. The vapor-liquid equilibrium data of binary system for 1, 2-dichloroethane + 1, 2- cyclohexene oxide was measured under normal pressure. Also we supplied basic data for the industrialized manufacture of 1, 2- cyclohexene oxide.The catalytic efficiency of different kinds of solid superacid for the hydrolyzing reaction was reviewed by means of the Orthogonal Design Method and the Single-Factor-Experiment Method. And the optimum condition for the SO42-/TiO2 solid superacid which were fit for the hydrolyzing reaction was confirmed, such as the concentration of H2SO4 was 1.00mol/L, the desiccation temperature was 100℃, the calcinations temperature was 450-500℃, and the calcinations time was 2 hours.The optimum hydrolyzing conditions which made trans-1, 2-cyclohexanediol from 1, 2- cyclohexene oxide were investigated by scientific experimental method. The kind of catalyst was SO42-/TiO2 solid superacid, catalyst dosage was 0.35%, reaction temperature was (50±2)℃, reaction time was 45 minutes, n(C6H10O):n(H2O) =1:30. Under this condition, the yield of trans-1, 2-cyclohexanediol could reach at 89.64%.For the sake of recycling solvent and purifying 1,2-cyclohexene oxide which are the mixtures of the process of oxidation cyclohexene, the vapor-liquid equilibrium(VLE) data of the binary system of 1, 2- dichloroethane + 1, 2-cyclohexene oxide were mensurated using ROSE equilibrium kettle, and corroborated on the basic of thermodynamic standard. VLE data were correlated by Wilson equation. The experimental measurements of liquid phase composition and bubble point temperature were found to be well represented by the Wilson equation. It was found that Wilson equation was suitable for the binary system. The comparative error of Wilson equation was 6.05%, and the effect is satisfactory.
