With the continuous increase of coal energy demand in our country, high-yield and high-efficiency requests have been put forward to coal mine exploitation. Hydraumatic support is the key equipment for mining working surface to achieve high-yield and high-efficiency requests. Reversal valve is an important control element in the hydraumatic support system, and its performance quality directly effects the production efficiency of coal mine working surface. So it's necessary to roundly research and develop a kind of new reversal valve which is provided with large capacity to meet the performance of hydraumatic support system.This article is regard to the theory analysis and experiment about a kind of reversal valve which is used in hydraumatic support. The author firstly analyses in theory the stress in the manipulation machine and hydraumatic engineering in the flow passage, then establishes the mathematical models of this hydraumatic system and manipulated moment of force, and works out the resistance loss of enter-and-return oil circuits in this valve and the theoretical value of manipulated moment of force. Then the author designs a test loop and a microcomputer testing system, according to the demand of theory analysis. And series tests are done in this valve to verify the mathematical models above and some parameter values which can't been got using theory methods are elicited.The author uses the mathematical models which are already verified to calculate and analyse the critical factors which can effect the resistance loss and manipulated moment of force in this valve, and finds some important conclusions. These conclusions provide useful reference datum and theory warranties to improve the performance of this valve. The methods which I used in the research are also provided with reference value to study the homogeneous elements.
