A Study On The Scheduling Of Plastic Product Manufacturing Process

The cost and profit of an enterprise are greatly dependent, in some sense, on the manufacturing resource configuration and utilization. Shop floor scheduling is one of the main factors that affect the resource utilization. This paper addresses the scheduling problem for injection modeling processes and conducts the following work:1. Present a review on the scheduling theories and analyze the existing methods of scheduling optimization;2. Introduce tabu search method for scheduling in detail, including its basic concept and operations, and the procedure;3. Present the scheduling problem for injection molding processes and the state of art;4. Present a model for the scheduling problem of injection molding processes and a tabu algorithm;5. Numerical simulization is done and it is shown that the algorithm makes a good improvement.
