With the high speed of textile machine in the present, the fabric going on the textile machine shows complicated dynamic modality because the finite precision goes between the momentum and movement of machine. Such as the fluctuant vibration and undee twist of the fabric. Meanwhile, the vibration of fabric will work on the vibration of machine. And we hope this mutual influences would not happen or ignore. That's because the phenomenon will have impact on the uniformity of fabric and the product quality. At the same time, it will weaken the life of the machine and the efficiency of the transmittal. It is significative to study the coupling of the mechanic and the fabric. The theories which will be educed will have an instructive effect on the textile machine of this kind. In the context, this is the objective of the study reported in this paper.Fabric is a kind of special material, which has some property of solid as well as its own nature of knitted structure. Fabric is made up of many flexible fibres, a way to study on the structure mechanics of fabric is that we suppose fabric is a continuum medium thing. The work presented in this paper concentrates primarily on the study of many mechanical properties of the fabric-roller system based on ANSYS, which is a FEA software used generally. The fabric is simulated as the she1163 element in ANSYS.This paper mainly focuses on many properties of the fabric-roller system using the FEA software ANSYS. Firstly, static of fabric which is moving and tighten uniformly is studied. The nonlinear extension is analyzed by FEA and the large deformation of the fabric which is very similar with the neck-compress phenomenon in daily life is included. Then a way to improve the pressure equality of the cloth cover is proposed by the Optimum Design Method, and the pressure distinction fall down clearly by improving the shape and dimension of two rollers. Using ANSYS, the nature frequencies and the prestressed mode of the fabric in fabric-roller system are computed. The relation curves that the first natural frequency of fabric relates the signified parameters are obtained, so several measures to enhance the stiffness of system are available. Also, the frequencies and mode of the roller and the fabric-roller coupling system is obtained by ANSYS. The conclusion is that the frequency of the fabric-roller system doesn't relate the roller but the fabric. So, when we develop and design textile machines, we should think more about the dynamic impact of fabric on textile machines. It is different from the traditional design method that engineers thought the mechanism itself. We find that if we change the material of roller as a soft rubber roller, instead of steel. The coupling effect on fabric-roller system is very clear.The study on many properties of fabric-roller coupling system helps us a lot to research on the dynamic coupling of mechanics-fabric. And we can build the dynamic design theories and method of this kind, which offers important theory foundation on this kind of textile machines design.
