Recently, using biotechnology and renewable resource (living source) to produce fuel alcohol which is substitute for petroleum energy in industry is a research hot-point in some countries. But the distillation of high purity alcohol is a most important link in industrial process of fuel alcohol, so it is necessary to research modeling and controlling of the distillation of high purity alcohol which improve the production process of fuel alcohol.In this dissertation, fuzzy cluster-algorithm (FCM) and GK cluster -algorithm was used modeling the process of the distillation of high purity alcohol. After many experiments and getting useful data on representative production status, T-S fuzzy model whch is about sensitive board and regurgitated liquor was built by using the experiment equipment of the sieve plate alcohol distillation. The simulation experiments show that the T-S fuzzy model is very well to describe the distillation system and reveal the performance of the system.The general predictive control (GPC) algorithm is researched in another part of the dissertation. Based on T-S fuzzy model, the sensitive plate temperature of distillation column is controlled through this optimization algorithm. The simulation experiments show that the GPC algorithm has better effect on accuracy of contrlling than PID control, so it ensures the quality of the products and increases yield.
