In organic chemistry there are many name reactions. Wittig reaction and Diels-Alder reaction are very important reactions in organic synthesis. Wittig reaction is a valuable method to form the C-C double bond, which is widely used in total synthesis of natural products. The intramolecular Diels-Alder reaction can generates two new carbon-carbon bonds to produce a polycyclic compound. It can also form four stereo centers in a single step. It has many merits, such as mild reaction conditions, high yields, good steroeselecivity and predictability. There are many reports about the microwave assisted Wittig reaction and Diels-Alder reaction. For many advantages of microwave assisted reactions, and the wide application of Wittig and Diels-Alder reaction in organic synthesis, we investigated on microwave assisted tandem Wittig reaction and the intramolecular Diels-Alder reaction for synthesis bicyclic lactones.This thesis is divided into four chapters: the review of Wittig reaction, chapter is the review of the intramolucular Diels-Alder reaction, the investigation of microwave assisted tandem Wittig-Diels-Alder reaction and the intramolecular Diels-Alder reaction, and performancesIn chapter 1, there is a review of Wittig reaction which contains the mechanism of Wittig reaction, the stereochemistry and the new development of Wittig reaction, especially the microwave assisted Wittig reaction.In chapter 2, there is also a review of the intramolucular Diels-Alder reaction which contains the mechanism and the stereochemistry of Diels-Alder reaction, microwave assisted intramolucular Diels-Alder reaction.In Chapter 3, we investigated the microwave assisted tandem Wittig-Diles-Alder reaction. We analyzed the isomers from tandem reaction by the microwave assisted intramolecular Diels-Alder reaction. We also determined stereochemistry of the isomers by the X-ray results and some related documents.In Chapter 4, there is about the performance of experiments.
