Organophosphorus pesticides (OPPs), pyrethroids and N-methyl carbamate pesticides (NMCs) are effective against a great variety of insects. They are used in agricultural crops, vegetables and fruits. The use of these pesticides provides benefits for increasing agricultural production, but their wide use could lead to extensive pollution of the environment and potential threats to human health. So, to institute a sensitive, rapid and simple analytical method is important. The OPPs, pyrethroids and NMCs in vegetables were separated and concentrated by solvent sublation. In this paper, the parameters of sublation solvent, such as: gas flow rate, pH and sublation time etc. on the sublation efficiency were investigated in details, and the optimal conditions of solvent sublation were obtained. In the optimal conditions, the floated product was analyzed by gas chromatograph (GC), high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and gas chromatograph -mass spectrometry (GC/MS). The results show that the proposed method for the determination of OPPs, pyrethroids and NMCs in vegetables is simple, sensitive, economical and precise, and can be used to analyze trace pesticide residues in vegetables.
