The application of Spectrophotometer method to On-line monitor's development of six-price chromium was emphatically discussed, the influence of detected results under different conditions was analyzed and the gradient dilution technique was explored in the time delayed survey - flow injection in this paper, thereby the time delayed survey technique was applied to practice.Most research on flow injection technique measuring six-price chromium was carried out in lab, and most experiments were operated manually. However, flow injection technique was applied to on-line monitor when measuring six-price chromium under the water in this paper, and on-line monitor was developed, which was operated easily and measured automatically; The experiments were carried out when developing this on-line machine under seven conditions: they are acidity, mass concentration of DPC solution, the length of reacted plate tube and velocity of flow, the length of pre-mixed pipe, sample volume and sampling time;The application of time delay survey technique to flow injection experiment in practice is rare at present, while this technique was employed in the paper. It is turned out that the survey range was extended considerably and the linearity of the results are improved evidently by the developed machine;On-line monitor results of six-price chrome were compared and analyzed between those utilizing time delayed survey technique and those not.
