Sulfur dioxide is a contamination that has an extensive distributing and stong influence to atmosphere,it has been called"prime criminal of the air pollution".The discharge of large numbers of sulfur dioxide makes the the air's quality incessant descend and leads to serious acid rain.Reducing the discharging of sulfur dioxide is a key issue of entironment protection and the techniques about controlling the discharge of sulfur dioxide in the burning process of the coal become a focus many engineer are interested in. In addition,the ceaseless perfecting of entironment protection rules and emission control regulations also have active effects to the development of these techniques.The Limestone/gypsum wet flue gas desulfurization(WFGD) is a mature technique that has been extensively applying in the world nowadays .In the process of WFGD,as the absorbent of desulfurization,its character is very important.It can influence the efficiency of WFGD and also decide the operation flexibility,gypsum quality and determine the desulfurization cost.The limestone's activity has relevance to limestone's kind and its component. On account of different producing area,the character of limestone has great distinctness.In this paper,it adopt the vitriol dissolving method,use the acid consuming as the bases to evaluate the limestone's activity.The more it consuming the acid the great the activity is.This paper investigated the relation between the components of the limestone and the limestone's activity and analyzed the influences of these components,the reaction condition to the limestone's activity. Research the ralation of limestone's particle diameter and pH with limestone's activity. Search reasonable preparation method and optimal constituting proportion and provide reference to project design.Adopting intermittence vitriol dissolving method, depend on more experiment to obtain reliable data.According to these data analyze and conclude the influence extent and reaction mechanism of single and compound components to limestone's activity. Educe the dissolving curve and the reaction velocity equation. Introducing the regression and linearity simulation methods to find the relation between these components and the limestone's activity.The dynamics model that was educed in this paper could forecast the limestone's dissolving characteristic in acid condition and the influence extent of various factor to its dissolving preferable. Through continuity flue gas dissolving method,it had educed the exit SO2-time curves and desulfurization efficiency-time.Both the method has simulated the actual situation of desulfurization course and the rules have gained from the experiment can represent the practical condition can provide great reference criterion to the project design.
