Steel jacket structure is the most common platform structure used by offshore oil and gas fields at present. Its advantages lie in simple structure, security, low price and better adjustability. Jacket platform has been used for more than 100 years overseas, the related techniques is perfect. At home offshore oil development started lately and the relevant equipment and technology are comparatively laggard, the installation operation for jacket is located in shallow sea, with a water depth of not exceeding 200 meters. The East and South China Sea is abundant in oil and gas resources, as the offshore oil and gas being further developed by our country, we need to grip the installation technology in deep-water jacket urgently. The thesis takes the biggest jacket PY30 in Asia as calculating model to thoroughly study the design methods for jacket offshore installation: first is the stability analysis for launch barge, determine whether the stability of barge satisfy the construction requirement according to the rules on intact stability and damaged stability by DNV; second is transportation analysis for jacket, check the strength for jacket in the course of towing according to the environment condition and motion response of barge; third is launch analysis for jacket, analyze the. launch and self-upending of jacket in base case condition and damaged case condition, otherwise do the research of sensitivity.
