Building indoor environment has been one of the outer environments people contact most frequently. So researches on indoor air quality have attracted more and more people's interest and the importance and necessity of the researches have been realized. The university's classroom is not only the place where teachers have lessons, but also the main place where students accept knowledge. Students spend almost half day in the classroom. To study the indoor air quality and improve indoor air environment of classroom has important significance in enhancing physically and mentally healthy of teachers and students.Live tests, questionnaires and numerical simulations were employed in this thesis to study the indoor air quality of university's classroom in Harbin. Main works are as follows. Count the testing data by mathematical statistic method. Compare and analyze the variation law and affecting factors of the contaminate concentration at different room conditions. Make questionnaires of classroom indoor air quality and perform, Subjective survey results were analyzed. The evaluation of the classroom indoor air quality was done by grey systematical theory and grey related analysis. Flow field in the classroom under natural ventilation in summer was simulated using Airpak software. The changing rules of indoor temperatures, CO2 concentration, indoor air age, PMV and PPD in the circumstances of different person density ,number and position of windows were known from the analyse.The results indicate that carbon dioxide is one of the most important indexes influencing the classroom indoor air quality in heating season. And over indoor person density and insufficient ventilation are the factors for high carbon dioxide concentration and the results from questionnaires agree with the ones from tests. Both in heating and non-heating season, The evaluation results shows that the indoor air quality is better when there is no lesson in the classroom. The indoor person density and window position have a larger influence on the flow field and carbon dioxide concentration in the room. Also, all the results presented in this thesis can be a reference for knowing and improving the indoor air quality in northern area classroom.
