Polysulfonamide is a kind of organic anti-high-temperature materials, which is researched independently by our country and its intellectual property is totally belonged to our country. In this paper, the mechanics performance, thermal performance, etc. of polysulfonamide were analyzed and the feasibility study of polysulfonamide inflaming retarding fabric was went on, in order to do a little favor for shrinking away the dependence toward foreign anti-high-temperature materials.As a high temperature resistant material, its fiber strength and high temperature resistant performance were known for all. However, some mechanics performance, especially whether different weaves can lead to different tearing strength, are still waiting for further research. Besides, the performances of polysulfonamide product in different temperature phase deserve further research. Hence, so as to improve the practicability of polysulfonamide high temperature resistant fabric, the paper studied from the aspects below.1. The basic performances of polysulfonamide fiber were researched with the physical and thermal methods. The melting and schizolysis process of polysulfonamide fiber when heated were analyzed, which offered foundation for researching the mechanic and anti-flame performance.2 Using 100% polysulfonamide yarn, some common weaves were designed combining with the mechanic properties and thermal performance of polysulfonamide fiber. The optimum fabric structure was sought to improve the mechanic properties of polysulfonamide fabric, and the basic performance of polysulfonamide fabric were tested.3 The mechanic, bursting, friction, tensile performance were researched. The analysis of bursting performance and its correlation were focused on.4 In order to study the performences of polysulfonamide fabric appling to the protecting human from high temperature, the kindling performance of polysulfonamide fabric was analyzed. The loss rates of mass, size, breaking strength and tearing strength were measured in different temperature and different time. Furthermore, through the contrast of thermal conductivity between normal and after high temperature treat, the thermal protection performance of polysulfonamide fabric were analyzed.The thermal stability of polysulfonamide fiber, the mechanic and thermal performance of polysulfonamide fabric were investigated in this dissertation. The researched results offer accordance for exploiting the high temperature protecting fabric made from polysulfonamide and can be serviced as the reference for textile enterprises. The experiment methods and research results of tearing performance of four fabrics with the same yarn count, density and different weaves are unique. Besides, the design to test fabric performance in different temperatures and times, the way to analysis heat protecting performance through contrasting thermal conductivity of normal and after high temperature treat are all innovative and offer some complementary methods for researching and testing fabric used for protecting from high temperature.
