A three-component system composed of organic and inorganic flocculants and inorganic decolorant was used to discolor the brown granulated sugar juice and the canejuice, The new method of decoloring avoided some disadvantages of the phosphation-sulfitation process in this paper. By comparing of experiments, the results were summarized as follows: the best inorganic flocculant was PSAZ,the best organic flocculant was PDMADDC, the best reduction decolorant was Na2S2O5; It was found that the effect of discoloring was good and the colour of juice didn't increase.First of all, the brown granulated sugar juice was tested whether it was discolored well by this method. With uniform experiment, the optimum technological conditions of discoloring was studied, the decolour efficiency of brown sugar is 41%; and the effect of the amount of reagents, pH value and heating temperature on the apparent purity were studied. Based on this, canejuice was experimented by the method to find a optimum experiment project; With uniform design, the optimum technological conditions of discoloring was studied;Besides,the effect of each factor on the decolourization ration, the apparent purity, the turbidity reduction ratio and Ca2+,Mg2+ content were studied, and analyzed thermostability of the discolored canejuice.By the repeating experiments,influencing rule of PSAZ,Na2S2O5 and PDMADDC on the results conformed to factual results;It was found that its effect of decoloration, the apparent purity, the turbidity reduction ratio and Ca2+,Mg2+ content were prior to the phosphation-sulfitation process. In this technics,the canejuice don't need sulfitating,besides that,the sulphur content in the white sugar is decreased,so it is important to improve the quality of white sugar and promote sanitary production; But the amount of PDMADDC is much ,it's molecular weight and need be studied further,and PDMADDC with high molecular weight and viscosity will be studied to decrease it's amount.
