The ball mill is a kind to apply very extensively and very important production machine, increasingly to large turn, automation and complication development, but for the sake of exaltation yield but design develop of mill machine then sliding shoes mill for lord. The sliding shoes mill, it is pass sliding by tightly solid in the shell to revolve in shoes. The sliding and shoes device is the most important part in the whole structure of mill. Its structure is complicated, so the easily breaks down. Such of key equipments once the occurrence breaks down usually bring huge influence, and usually cause business enterprise suffer bigger economy loss, because of emergence value of maintaining breakdown estimate shortage. To resolve sliding shoes mill work actual problem within process ,we need roundly mastery the work condition of the mill ,so make the analysis of is science valid .In this analysis ,we need to make sure its shell stress condition. And the sliding and shoes are the place that easily appears some problems, so it seems to be extremely important to analysis the contact between the sliding and shoes.The research of theories is for the sake of application in practice. Currently make use of a finite element method to carry on number emulation is a kind of more mature method. The analysis and research in this paper is aboutφ4.6×14 m sliding shoes mill of CBMI CONSTRUCTION CO.,LTD .In this paper ,a detailed analysis for state of the sliding shoes mill is carried on firstly, then the stress of the mill was analyzed and calculated by the finite element simulation method .Moreover, a finite element simulation to the mill shell and the contact analysis between the sliding and shoes were done by using the finite element software -ANSYS which was most popular at present. That was aiming at the stress of the sliding shoes mill shell. With its strong function of post processor, various kinds of colored atlases about stress and displacement were protracted. We can forecast its dangerous place according its stress numeric. It can reduce breakdown rate of the mill in production. And it benefits production in the industry.
