Aluminum and its alloy has been widely used in machinery manufacturing,packaging,transportation,electrical and electronic,aerospace and other fields,because of its good comprehensive performance.Hot rolling as the main plastic forming process of thick plate has high requirements for carrying capacity and stability of transmission gears.In this paper,the main research object is the herringbone gear,which is from a hot rolling reduction machine for aluminum company.First of all,I establish herringbone gear 3D parametric model of aluminum plate hot rolling reduction through the Pro/e,which can generate the corresponding series gear by parameters,and improve the design efficiency and reliability of the gear after inputting herringbone gear parameters.The precise assembly of gear is realized according to the meshing condition of the herringbone gear,laying the foundation for the analysis of the contact fatigue strength.Secondly,the basic theory of gear tooth contact analysis was studied.On the basis of theoretical study,the simplified model of herringbone gear was imported workbench 15.0 analysis software.Later,contact stress analysis was carried out on the gear meshing area:divide the grid,set the constraints,add the load,calculate the stress cloud.The paper compared the maximum contact stress in the stress nephogram with the results obtained by the formula of the traditional Hertz,and provided the basis for the design of the gear.Improve the bearing capacity of the gear by optimization design of gear parameters,with the gear contact fatigue strength as the objective function,under the premise of without changing the volume.Finally,I designed "software of herringbone gear modeling and contact stress analysis" by using secondary development module-Pro/Toolkit of Pro/E and compilation environment of VS2008,which can put the gear parametric modeling and gear contact strength check together and Simplify the iterative process of input and check in the traditional design process.The development application is directly used for the 3d modeling of herringbone gear,which can realize the fast design of herringbone gear and check.
