Research in microstructure-controllable ladderlike polymer is the advanced and interdisciplinary study for polymer science, supramolecular chemistry and material science. In this thesis, the procedure is based on the theory of supramolecular self-assembling. A novel Complete m-phenylenediamino-Bridged Ladder Polychloropylsiloxane (addr. OLPS) with molecular weight Mn =10500 was synthesized successfully for the first time by means of stepwise coupling polymerization. The main contents and results of this thesis are shown below.1. A novel kind of ladderlike polysilsesquioxane having side-chain with chloropropyl terminal group was prepared by "Stepwise CouplingPolymerization". The structure of the polymer was characterized by FT-IR,X-ray diffraction and 29Si NMR. The data show that the polymer has ordered ladderlike molecular structure. The DSC shows that the polymer has higher temperature of glass transition. The m-phenylenediamino-Bridged Ladder Polychloropylsiloxane with grafted reactive groups is a very promising and potential precursor for the preparation of new functional ladder polymers. This synthetic method paves another a new way for synthesis and functionalization of novel ladderlike polymers.2. 5-chlorosalicylamide was obtained by 'one pot' method. The intermediates do not need separation and purification, the total yield reaches79%. We studied the best ammonolysis condition through orthogonal tests.We could receive the best ammonolysis condition: the ratio is12:1(ammonia:5-chlorosalicyl methyl ester), the solvent is methanol, the temperature is 35~40℃, the ammonolysis time is 15 h. The structure of the 5-chlorosalicylamide was confirmed by the spectrograms of IR, MS, NMR and elementary analysis. The purity of 5-chlorosalicylamide reaches 99.54%(HPLC).
