Formaldehyde released by Interior decoration material and furniture is thecharacteristic pollutant of indoor air pollution. This article emphasize on the methodof controlling indoor Formaldehyde pollution.1 This article examine the extent of Formaldehyde pollution in 53 rooms of 3plots.It shows that the concentration of Formaldehyde in the undecorated roomis as the same as that in the outdoor air,,the concentration of formaldehyde in thenewly decorated rooms or the rooms have new furniture exceeds the allowedfigure, and the more the rooms decorated the more serious the pollution is.2 we uses the 0.25m3 Warehouse simulating the nature proliferating behavior offormaldehyde. A positive correlation between airflow ratios and transfer rateexpressed as y=-0.2356x2+2.20407(R=0.9820). It indicates that the formaldehydeproliferating probably divides into three stage: the preliminary stage, gentle stageand stable stage. We should put emphasis on the preliminary stage in theformaldehyde control.3 Using activated charcoal absorb the formaldehyde, and it shows that, theabsorbing of formaldehyde by activated charcoal is accorded with the uniformtemperature line-monolayer adsorption characteristic curve. The average amountof formaldehyde absorbed by activated charcoal is 5.83×10-3mg/m3.g.Apositive correlation between amount of formaldehyde absorbed and activatedcharcoal weight expressed as y=0.0054x(R=0.9962)。4 This article has also discussed oxidation of ozone to the formaldehyde. Thepurification effect has relation with the existing time and the quantity of ozone.The removal rate between 1.07-40.49%. A positive correlation betweenconcentrates of formaldehyde and time of ozone impact expressed as y=0.0091x(R=0.99). Ozone is also a kind of air pollutant, the quantity of ozone exceedsthe allowed figure after 2 hours. So it is unscientific to remove the formaldehydeby using ozone air cleaner.5 The absorbing effect of photochemical catalysis varies with the illumination condition. A positive correlation between the change of formaldehydeconcentration and acreage of dupe in the nature light expressed asy=0.1769e0.9048x (R=0.9551); As in the UV light the positive correlationexpressed as y=3.627x0.1404 (R=0.9933)。6 Actual indoor formaldehyde concentration is more concentrated among0.3-0.5mg/m3, this article have done the simulation tests within the concentrationof formaldehyde. Simulation test results with the experimental results in line.7 According to the conservation of mass, this article have established themathematic model which can predicts formaldehyde concentration after usingphotochemical catalysis in the UV light, the model is: C=c1e-2.7773At/v。...
