ObjectivesThrough the survey of Haikou residents' perception of formaldehyde and the pollution of formaldehyde in indoor air in residential houses in Haikou city.To understand the problems of formaldehyde pollution in the room in Haikou and the residents ' knowledge of the main indoor pollutants and the effectiveness of prevention measures.Analyze the main factors affecting the indoor pollution of the room in Haikou.To provide reasonable suggestions for home decoration and furniture purchase in Haikou,provide basis for reducing formaldehyde pollution in indoor air,and provide basis for the development of healthy housing technology development and evaluation standards.MethodsRandomized stratified cluster sampling was used.The overall renovation of houses with a small difference in the average price of Haikou was selected as the overall study.According to the direction of the house,select 2 communities as the survey object.According to the size of the house,the decoration period was stratified and a total of 193 samples were taken.The KAP survey of house decoration and the determination of formaldehyde in different functional rooms were conducted on selected survey households.Analyze the effect of householder cognition on the formaldehyde concentration in the different functions of the home improvement.In the questionnaire survey,the formaldehyde concentration was measured on-site using the national standard phenol reagent method.Research result1.This study is a current study,which is mainly divided into two parts: the householder's current status survey on home improvement knowledge KAP and formaldehyde concentration measurement in different function rooms.In this study,from March 2nd to March 23 rd,2018,a total of 193 homes in Haikou City were investigated.A total of 698 formaldehyde concentrations in different functional rooms were detected.Detected 191 master bedroom,166 secondary bedrooms,189 living rooms,64 study rooms,53 children's rooms,and 35 kitchens.The detection of different functional rooms found that the highest rate of formaldehyde exceeding standard in the baby room was 28.3%,followed by 26.6% and 24.1% respectively for the study room and the master room.Comparing the time between completion of different renovations and home inspection time,it was found that the over-standard rate of formaldehyde gradually decreased with the prolongation of time.After the chi-square test,the difference in the over-standard rate was statistically significant(P(27)05.0).Second,as residents' activities in the room are extended,the overall rate of formaldehyde exceedance is declining.The survey also found that as temperature increases,the formaldehyde concentration also increases.2.Through the questionnaire collection of decoration related information,found that with the increase in the total cost of decoration,its rate of exceeding the standard showed a rising trend,the use of masonry floors of the room its formaldehyde exceeding rate is much lower than the use of wooden floor group,the difference was statistically significant(P(27)05.0).The formaldehyde over-standard rate in the room using wallpaper was lower than that in the non-use group,and the difference was statistically significant(P(27)05.0).3.Through the questionnaire to collect the prevention measures taken by residents found that the use of environmentally friendly furniture,the purchase of national standard E1 products,after the purchase of building materials in the official website to check,window ventilation,the use of activated carbon can make the formaldehyde rate exceeded,and compared with the non-use group,The difference was statistically significant(P(27)05.0).Whether there is no significant difference between professional management and use of air purifiers(P(29)05.0).4.Incorporating the factors that have influence on the over-standard rate of formaldehyde controlled by residents into the two-class logistic regression analysis,the material of the floor,the paste of the wallpaper,the ventilation time,the time of the residents activities,the purchase of the national standard E1 product,the purchase of building materials,and verification on the official website.The window opening ventilation and decoration time had a significant effect on the rate of formaldehyde over-standard(P(27)1.0).Among them,the use of wooden flooring as a risk factor for excess formaldehyde is OR(28)606.4,and other factors are the protective factors for excessive formaldehyde.ConclusionThere ware formaldehyde pollution in the room in Haikou City,and residents had poor cognition and need to strengthen education.Government departments need to strengthen supervision of the market and formulate relevant guidelines.
