Freshwater is a precious resource, freshwater shortage has been a more and more important factor restricting economic development in recent years. Face to the austere position, seawater, brackish water distillation and wastewater reuse are should used to slove the question. Seawater, brackish water distillation is desalination, wastewater reuse except biological treament also need desalination. So, desalination is a key to slove water shortage. Electro-sorb Technology as a new desalination technology of water treatment, is characterized with high salt rejection rate, low energy consumption, high ability of fouling resistant, without acid-basic regeneration and so on. The EST equipment using Electro-sorb Technology has been manufactured. The thesis has been used EST equipment ESTT-400 Model to study the effects of voltage and concentration of solution, flow and flux, HCO3- on EST equipment. The study would offer some theoretical and experimental reference for optimal design to the equipment. Simultaneity, go with techno-economical analysis and durablity reaserch of EST equipment. The mian results are as fllowing.1. Research of effects of voltage and concetration of solution on the ability of EST equipment. The result indicated: mass of sorption is higher under higher voltage; with analysis of the ratio of sorption of Cl- and energy consumption, the value of 1.0V is higher, howere, the mass of sorption is low; considered mass of sorption and energy efficency, 1.4V is appropriate voltage; mass of sorption is higher under higher concetration of solution, howere too higher concentration is not good, so, if need treat solution of high concentration should refluxing.2. Research of effects of flux and flow on the ability of EST equipment. With tracer method received the law of hydraulic retain time, with simulate received the integrate hydraulic retain time distribution function. Based the effects on flow to the ability of EST equipment, if need large flux, equipment may connected in parallel; if need high quality water, may connected in series. Because of difference of ion charge and volume, the sorption of each ion is different. The remove rate of each ion in this study is: Mg2+>Ca2+>Cl->SO42->F->HCO3->Na+>NO3-. To EST equipment ESTT-400 Model, the better is 1.5t/h.3. Using equilibrium analysis to research effect of HCO3- on the ability of EST equipment. The result indicated: desorption rate of Cl- is near 100%, howere, desorption rate of HCO3- is low, only near 70%. Treat wter with high alkalinity, CO2 would accumulated in inner of electrode, infected the ability of EST equipment. This research proved that acidification-aeration is a good method to treat water with high alkalinity.4. Go with techno-economical analysis to Electro-sorb Technology. This technology has low request to quality of influent, water recovery rate can arrived 76.9%, when the conductivity of influlent is 1650μS/cm, salt rejection rate is 83%, energy consumption is only 1.131.21 ( kW·h )/t. The EST equipment ESTT-400 Model was used for the study of waste water reuse, proved that the ability of fouling resistant is strong, the equipment can run in long period. |
