In the process of flocculation, the flocculation effect is related to the flocculation itself, such as the kind, property and variety. The research of flocculation species about the polymer ferric flocculant maybe establish theory base for the preparation of more efficient, hateless and infectantless inorganic macromolecule polymer ferric flocculation.The flocculation species and properties of two polymer ferric flocculants were studied by Ultroviolet absorption spectrum and Fe-Ferron timed. And the two polymer ferric flocculants were also applied in the dephosphorization of town waste water and removing algae of water eutrophication . The main results of the thesis were as follows.Firstly, the flocculation species and properties of polymer sulfate ferric flocculation were studied by Ultroviolet absorption spectrum. The research results were as follows: During the wavelength range of 200~400nm , the change for the spectral curve of the different pH polymer ferric sulfate flocculants is corresponding relation to the flocculent effects of turbidity and colourity removal on stimulant waste water to some extent. The flocculent effect of turbidity and colourity removal on stimulant waste water is optimum at pH=2.0.When pH value is in the range of 1.5 to 2.0 and 2.0 to 2.3, the flocculent effects are also better. However, the flocculent effect is decreased apparently when pH value is over 2.5.Secondly, the flocculation species and properties of polymer silicate sulfate ferric flocculant were studied by Ultroviolet absorption spectrum and Fe-Ferron timed, The research results were as follows: The absorbance of peaks in the wavelength range of 200~400nm are not all increased with Fe3+/SiO2 mole ratio rising from 0.5 to 2.0,but the efficient flocculation ingredient Fe(a)+Fe(b) are decreased with Fe3+/SiO2 mole ratio rising ,and it is also increased when Fe3+/SiO2 mole ratio is over 1.0. The flocculation effect is optimum when Fe3+/SiO2 mole ratio is 1.Then, two polymer ferric flocculation were applied on the dephosphorization of town waste water and removing algae of water eutrophication. The research results were as follows:, the flocculanting effect of PFSS is more better than polymer ferric sulfate flocculants for the unexposal gas waste water,and the dosage is 200ppm,the contain of phosphor is under the standard;for the two deep pool waste water ,the two polymer ferric flocculation have the same good flocculanting effect,and the contain of phosphor is 0.5mg/L when the dosage is 150ppm for polymer ferric sulfate flocculants and 100ppm for PFSS.Finally, The orthogonal experiment were used to investigate the efficiency of algae removal under the condition of different pH,different quantity of PFSS and pre-oxidant. In this experiment,potassium permanganate were chosen as pre-oxidant. The experimental results revealed that the algal removal efficiency is mainly affected by pH value.Good efficiency of algae removal can be got when pH value is 11,the dosage for PFSS is 0.7ml/L and 0.7mg/L for pre-oxidant, the efficiency of algae removal is 99.6%.A new more important problem appears about the method of controlling and treating the water eutrophication which is more hateful after three gorge reservoir sluice. Flocculation method is considered as one of the most important methods of controlling and treating the water eutrophication . and the research becomes more popular and important about the economic and efficient method of controlling and treating the water eutrophication ,especially for dephosphorization and removing algae.
