With the increasing of the amount of the automobile continuously, the air pollution becomes more and more serious for the great amount of automobile exhaust. Both the purify way of inside machine and outside machine have been researched widely. In recent years, the way to purify the all kinds of automobile exhaust by the low temperature plasma technology was attached all over the world. The way to reduce the engine exhaust by magnetism electric plasma polarize explode state technology is a new thinking, which acts on the ingoing air, becomes the air as polarize explode state gas. Then it can improve the status of the engine burning and the exhaust can be purified.The principle of discharge of low temperature plasma is researched by studying the basic theory of discharge in this paper and the reaction course of low temperature plasma is discussed. Meanwhile, the principles of magnetism electric plasma polarize explode state purify the main engine exhaust are researched. The magnetism electric plasma polarize explode state ingoing gas device is developed. The basic situation of engine exhaust that is purified by the device is studied. The all kinds of factors that affect the purify effect of the device is also studied, include the voltage and the frequency of power and construction of discharge tube and the number of electrify tube and the length and radius of tube. Otherwise, the magnetism loop group is also studied. The rational explain is given in this paper for all kinds of transformation of purify results.The main conclusions are listed by analyzing the data of exhaust purify experiment:â‘ The purify effect of magnetism electric low temperature plasma purify the CO, HC and NOx from automobileexhaust is good. Their purify rate are 43%, 51% and 30% in the normal experiment condition.â‘¡with the increasing of voltage and the frequency and the number of electrify discharge tubes and the length of discharge tube and the decreasing of the inside radius of the discharge tube, the purify effect of CO and HC are better. However, the concentration of NOx will increase because the better effect of discharge.â‘¢There are three constructions of discharge tube in this paper. The constructions of tubes are grid in inside and grid in two sides and spire in two sides. The purify effect of CO and HC are better when the construction of tube is spire in two sides. â‘£The concentration of NOx can be reduce obviously by installed the magnetism loop group and the purify rate of CO and HC can also be improved. The reduce rate of concentration of CO, HC and NOx are 9%, 11% and 74% when the discharge reactor is installed.
