After analyzing the compositions of a number of saturated mother liquor and dregs, the solid-liquid equilibrium diagram of AlCl3—Al2O3—H2O at 50℃is obtained with the method of wet dregs. Under the guidance of the diagram, we synthesized two kinds of poly aluminum chloride successfully and the preparing processes of expected products are controlled effectively. XRD analysis shows that the main phases of the two kinds of PAC are 2AlCl3·7Al(OH)3·18H2O(following abbreviated asⅠ)and 5AlCl3·8Al(OH)3·37H2O(following abbreviated as M-Al13, it had been obtained formerly and it is not discussed here). Chemical analysis shows that it's purity is 86.22%.Another multinuclear hydroxyl complex aluminum salts has been synthesized by water-heated method. Through chemical analysis,XRD and IR, we know that it's main phase is AlCl3·4Al(OH)3·7.5H2O(following abbreviated asⅡ)and it's purity up to 80%.In this paper, a new kind of polyaluminum sulfate has been obtained, through characterization we confirmed it's chemical formula is(63Al2O3·60SO3·562H2O). following abbreviated asⅢ。The aluminum species of the three products are studied by using Al-Ferron time complex colorimetric method, and the results show the productⅠ: Ala14.02%, Alb20.80%, Alc65.18%; the productⅡ:Ala1.33%, Alb6.85%, Alc91.85%; the productⅢAla19.46%, Alb32.32%, Alc48.22%respectively. Finally the produts in the above have been treated the kaolin simulated suspending liquid, find that they have the focculation effect at certain conditions.
