High work piece is very important in industrial department as one kindof raw materials. On one hand, costumers are more concerned with thequality of geometrical shape and mechanical capability. On the other hand,the eleventh 5-years plan of our nation has put forward that we should buildour society in an economical way. Cutting with a little or no chipping isencouraged based on the plan and the sustainable development policy. Sothe rolling method will surely be the main technique in the production ofprecise tapes. Although the 'FEM simulation' to rolling process has beenresearched for many years, the 'FEM simulation' to high work piece isinfrequent. Thereby, it has very important significance for improving thequality through in-depth theoretical research.'Precise rolling of Flat steel' has been researched. Through outsuitable loading and restrictions, a three-dimensional 'FEM' model hasbeen built based on the 'rolling parameters of Flat Steel' and the 'LS-DYNA' software. Meanwhile, rolling processes in single trace anddouble trace have been simulated successfully based on suitable loadingand constraint conditions. Also the distributions of stress and strain in therolling process have been acquired. Besides, kinds of rolling conditions areanalyzed taken as the effects to the transform in the rolling process such asflat steel's ply, breadth and roller diameter as well as the depressive grade.And what's more, the distribution of remnant stress after rolling is analyzedand calculated. Based on a greet deal of data and research to rolling stressfrom predecessors, an important parameter has elementarily beenconfirmed which is used to calculate rolling stress on high work piece. Andit has been proved correct and dependable of 'FEM' model talked above byexperiments indirectly.Basic rule of material transform in rolling process has been revealed.Also interrelated theory of rolling process has been put forward and provedby experiments. It can give aid to improve quality in production.
