This research used the sodium alginate, polyvinyl alcohol-sodium alginate and polyethylene oxide-sodium alginate as the embedding materials, FeCl3 and CaCl2 as the crosslinking agent to prepare high polymer gelatin balls. This article has mainly studied the best embedding condition of sodium alginate gelatin balls, polyvinyl alcohol-sodium alginate gelatin balls and polyethylene oxide-sodium alginate gelatin balls, the intensity and the adsorption behavior of tannic acid and the gallic acid on high polymer gelatin balls in the waste water, the influence of humic substances to tannic acid and gallic acid adsorption as well as high polymer gelatin balls regeneration. The experiment results show that,1.SA-Ca, SA-Fe, SA-Ca-Fe gelatin balls' best embedding condition is SA 2%, CaCl2 5%, FeCl3 0.5%.PVA-SA-Fe, PVA-SA-Ca-Fe gelatin balls' best embedding condition is PVA 1%, SA 2%, FeCl3 0.5%, CaCl2 5%.PEO-SA-Fe, PEO-SA-Ca-Fe gelatin balls' best embedding condition is PEO 1%, SA 2%, FeCl3 0.5%, CaCl2 5%.The concentration of crosslinking agent FeCl3 has no effect on the high polymer gelatin balls adsorption characteristics.2. The intensity of high polymer gelatin balls are PEO-SA-Ca-Fe>PVA-SA-Ca-Fe>PEO-SA-Fe>PVA-SA-Fe>SA-Ca>SA-Ca-Fe>SA-Fe.3. When the adsorption time is 60min, the removal of tannic acid by SA-Ca, SA-Fe, SA-Ca-Fe, PVA-SA-Fe,PVA-SA-Ca-Fe,PEO-SA-Fe and PEO-SA-Ca-Fe gelatin balls are 34%, 95%, 79%, 90%, 85%, 96%and 87%, the removal of gallic acid are 27%, 99%,83%, 92%, 88%,95%and 80%. When the time achieved 120min, the adsorption basically achieved the adsorption equilibrium. The effect of removal to tannic acid and gallic acid is the best by PEO-SA-Fe gelatin balls.4. SA-Fe, PVA-SA-Ca-Fe and PEO-SA-Fe gelatin balls' adsorption behavior are the polymole -cular layer adsorptions and their adsorption isothermal equation are best fitted with the Freu -ndlich.5. In the coexistence solution of humic substances and tannic acid, the removal of Tannic acid by SA-Fe, PVA-SA-Ca-Fe and PEO-SA-Fe gelatin balls do not change can elimination humic substances at the same. Humic substances have not effect the adsorption characteristics of SA-Fe, PVA-SA-Ca-Fe and PEO-SA-Fe gelatin balls.6. SA-Fe, PVA-SA-Ca-Fe and PEO-SA-Fe gelatin balls which saturated adsorption can utilize after regeneration. To the tannic acid and the gallic acid the elimination effect reduces along with the degeneration regeneration number of times increase. In regenerative process, tannic acid iron and gallic acid iron completely dissolves in HCl solution, tannic acid can recycle and reuse.
